Today we had a spiral cut ham with a brown sugar, honey and cinnamon glaze. It was simple and everyone loved it. There is something about making your own glaze when it comes to ham. It's very easy and it can be modified to suit your tastes. For example, you could make an apple cider and brown sugar glaze, pineapple glaze and many more. It can be whatever you want it to be, but that sweet taste you get with honey and brown sugar is pretty hard to beat. Crank up the heat, put the glaze on your ham and 10 minutes later its crispy, sweet and yummy.

Good afternoon everyone; Easter is coming this weekend and many of us cook a ham and then we must eat it for eternity it seams. What can we do with some left over ham and the ham bone? One great thing about ham is that the bone is a great source of flavor for soups and beans. Adding a ham bone to lima beans, 15 bean soup, or even black eyed peas makes a huge difference in the taste. In fact, it's the only way I can eat a bowl of beans. I like to chop some raw onion and top my bowl of beans along with some cornbread on the side. It is a full meal! Beans are packed full of nutrition and are actually very good for you too so you get an added health bonus for eating them.

I had this salad the first time at a restaurant on 9th avenue in Pensacola Florida. One day I went there to have lunch and they were out of business. I can't understand it because the food was great. In addition to salads, they had wraps, desserts and all sorts of great tasting menu items. This salad was one of my favorite so I decided to make it myself. Sometimes you just aren't in the mood for a full meal and want something light and tasty. This cucumber, tomato and feta salad fits the bill. Add some Greek olives and it's heavenly. Good morning everyone; one of my friends sent me this recipe to post and honestly it looks great to me. This would be a great party treat. You could make these up and put out for your guests to munch on or you could have them for a meal. Either way, they look tasty to me. Good afternoon everyone. I remember when I was a young boy that you couldn't give away a chicken wing. Now they are very popular and have become a multi- million dollar business. Franchises everywhere as well as many restaurants make a big business selling them. Mostly you get the ones fried or either placed in the over, but I can tell you that you haven't had a chicken wing until you've had them grilled. The neat part about grilling them is that it doesn't take forever and they are fantastic. As the potato chip commercial says "I bet you can't eat just one". The same holds true for grilled chicken wings. Another nice thing is that you can make them any flavor you choose. They can be hot, barbequed, lemon pepper, honey mustard, or any other flavor you might choose. Not only that, but this is the easy way to cook wings. I have included two recipes, but you can use your own as well.
You know Easter is almost here and it makes you think of hard boiled eggs that the kids love to hunt for. It's a great time of year for potato salad, deviled eggs and all sorts of things. But for me, I love soft boiled eggs. I guess that makes sense because I like my fried eggs over medium so I can dip toast into the yolk. Soft boiled eggs are even better especially if you don't want to fry them in that bacon grease. The great think about soft boiled eggs, it they taste great. Now you can put them in one of those fancy egg cups, but you can also remove from the shell easily with a spoon.
If you love onions, this recipe is for you. The onion flavor permeates throughout the gravy for a taste that is amazing. This is one of my wife's favorite meals so I cook it for her once in a while. I will be posting step by step how to prepare this delicious meal which goes great over steamed rice or mashed potatoes. Served with a salad and you have a complete meal.
