BBQ Pork Loin
Pork Loin
1 tsp. olive oil
2 tsp. sugar
2tsp. red pepper
1 ½ tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. chili powder
½ tsp. cumin
1 15 oz. bottle of Jack Daniels BBQ sauce
¼ cup of honey
Mix add the honey to the BBQ sauce and whisk to incorporate.
Place loin in a large pan and rub with olive oil. Mix the remaining dry ingredients and rub over the entire pork loin.
Sear over direct heat long enough to brown the entire pork loin.
I used a gas grill and after I initially browned the pork loin, I placed the pork loin in the middle and shut off heat to that burner; using the two outer burners to cook the pork loin for one hour.
After one hour, I covered with BBQ sauce two or three times letting it cook a few minutes and then turning and reapplying the BBQ sauce.
