Bacon Wrapped Smokies with Brown Sugar and Butter
1 pound bacon cut into thirds
1 pound of Smokies
1 stick butter
2 cups brown sugar
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Wrap each Smokies with a strip of the bacon.
In another pan, melt butter and one cup of brown sugar mixing well.
Pour the mixture on top of the Smokies which you have placed in a large
casserole dish.
Sprinkle the other cup of brown sugar on top and bake 15-20 minutes and then
turn up the oven to 400 degrees for about 5 minutes longer until the bacon
becomes crispy.
