Bermuda Burger
BURMUDA BURGER
Ingredients:
2 pounds hamburger meat 85% lean
6 slices of bacon
1 large green bell pep
1 large red onion
6 slices of American cheese or your favorite cheese
I always cook everything on the grill for this recipe. Start by
chopping the bacon into 1/2 inch cubes. Then dice the red onion and bell pepper.
Make a tray from tin foil and place bacon, onion and bell pepper in it.
Make hamburger patties by taking 1/3lb and rolling into a ball and then flattening it
out to desired thickness.
Pre heat grill. Place the tray of onions and bell
peppers on the grill and cook until bacon is done and vegetables are tender.
Move to upper tray of grill to keep warm.
Place burgers on grill and cook to desired doneness. Once the burgers are almost done, add a tablespoon of the
bacon and vegetables. Put as much as you like but be sure to leave enough for
all of your burgers.
Cover with cheese and cook until the cheese melts. It holds
the toppings in place and it taste great.
Place on the bun and use
the condiment of your choice. These will go fast so you may have to make
two batches.
