Glazed Carrots
Ingredients:
1 pkg. frozen baby carrots
1/2 stick butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
juice from half orange (optional)
pinch of salt and pepper
In a medium saucepan melt the butter and sugar together; add carrots and 1/4 cup of water and bring to a boil.
Add salt and pepper, reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes until the water, sugar and butter begin to thicken and the carrots are starting to become tender.
Squeeze the juice from half of a small orange to the carrots and you are in business.
