Lumpia
Ingredients:
2 tbs. vegetable oil
1 lb. ground pork
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ lb. julienned green beans can use frozen French style
2 carrots julienned
1 tsp. soy sauce
Lumpia wrappers
Salt
Heat oil in a skillet and sauté onions and garlic until
tender; add pork and sauté until brown.
Add green beans and cook until tender. Be careful not to overcook them. They
should be slightly firm.
Remove from heat and add soy sauce.
Place about 3 tbs. of the mixture near the edge you are facing. Roll the
wrapper over the mixture, and then fold in the sides. Continue rolling and when
you get to the edge moisten it with water to get it to stick. Just like rolling
an egg roll.
Deep fry at 350 degrees until brown.
